Fence and more
One of the purposes of the MPCC visit to RBI was to help them with building a fence and to help them build toilet/shower facilities for the students. Due to heavy rains prior to our arrival, the land was full of water and not a good time to dig the foundations for the toilet facilities. The bricks were delivered while we were there.
We were able to dig most of the holes for the fence posts, even with the extra ground water. While we were in Chin State, a local contractor made the concrete fence posts. Some of them were being set in the ground during our last day at RBI.
On the day we left for home, there was a break in at the girls dorm while the girls were sleeping. Nothing was stolen and no one was hurt, but still a scary situation. They really needed the fence.
We received pictures from Lincoln and the fence is now complete, as well as the new shower facilities. So glad we could be a part of it!
